Patients and Visitors
Patient's and Visitor's Guide
The staff of CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System wants your stay to be as comfortable as possible. The following information should be helpful to you during your hospitalization. You can download our complete patient's and visitor's guide, by clicking here.
Visiting Hours
While visiting hours are not regulated in non-critical care units, visiting times have been scheduled for patients in our four intensive care units to assure patient care procedures can be performed on a timely basis. The visitation schedule is included in the intensive care patient packets that are distributed at time of admission to a critical care unit.
Smoke-Free Environment
CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System provides a smoke-free environment. No smoking is permitted within the hospital or adjoining buildings. Visitor and patient smoking permitted in the following provided areas:
- Adjacent to the hospital north entrance. This area is open during daylight hours.
- Courtyard area near the Emergency Department. This area is available at all times.
