CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System’s vision for healthcare in our region is to help provide a “Medical Home” for everyone who needs healthcare, regardless of their ability to pay. The Texarkana region is experiencing a growing demand for primary healthcare in our underserved population -- those who are underinsured (Medicaid and Medicare), self-pay with no insurance, and the indigent.

CHRISTUS St. Michael is committed to expanding access to the underserved in our area by partnering with existing community resources such as UAMS AHEC Southwest and expanding those services to include clinics, education, and guidance to obtaining healthcare resources.

Appointments, call before coming in. Walk-ins accepted from 8 am - 11 am & 1 pm - 3 pm. Well & sick-child visits from newborn - age 18. Private insurance and Medicaid accepted, co-pay when applicable, billed for remainder. If uninsured, alternative payment plans available. There is assistance to qualify for charity care.

Appointments and walk-ins welcome, patients of all age groups seen. If insured, co-pay must be paid prior to services. Medicare, Medicaid, and Medicaid-eligible accepted. If uninsured, alternative payment plans available. There is assistance to qualify for charity care.
